How did everyone do at the Missoni for Target opening?!!

I am so lame.  I have been waiting months for this line to come out and of course I completely forgot until I started getting texts from people asking me if I got anything good.  DARN IT!  I have loved Missoni's zig-zag/chevron pattern for years and now it seems like everywhere I look, BAM, there it is.

Tis the Season

I'm back!  Summer is always a great time to relax and enjoy the company of family and friends, and I did just that.  So many great times and so many memories made, but now it's time to start thinking of what is ahead, like, THE HOLIDAYS!!  I love summer, but there really is nothing like fall in New England.
The cooling weather is also a painful reminder that after fall comes the dreaded cold winter.  I actually don't really mind winter because there is something about a fresh snowfall that is so refreshing and also romantic.  PLUS, it means CHRISTMAS time!!!!

Martha's Vineyard

I LOVE summertime!  I have been away from reality and the blogging world for awhile because I have been lucky enough to hang out on Martha's Vineyard for the past week.  Here are a few pictures of what we've been up to on the Island...

Food, Fun, Family, and Forty!

When I turn 40, I want my party to be just like this one.  It was low key but filled with perfect surprises and so much love.  Each of the siblings did something special for their sister; one made "Team Kath" t-shirts, one cooked, and one even sang a song.  The hosts of the party, Kathleen's parents, made a video picture montage that took everyone down memory lane.  Everything was so thoughtful and from the heart.  Kath's kids had some very kind words to share and her husband gave the most amazing speech/toast that left few dry eyes in the house.  This woman is so appreciated and loved.  Happy Birthday "Aunt Kaff!"

"Shout Out to the La Barca Crew!"

Patrick's graduation ceremony was a lot of fun.  The only people missing were Conlan and Margaret, but besides that we represented pretty well.  Mimi and Bryce flew in from Hawaii, Grandpa Ron was there, and so were Caitlin, Drew, Lilly, Tanner, Me, and Mom.  My dad was chosen to give the Staff Speech.  He is such an amazing speaker and even gave a shout out  at the very end to Patrick and his LBC extended family.  Thanks to Caitlin for taking pics after the ceremony!

Such a great day.  Congrats again Pat!
