Happy 40th

A few weeks ago I got to take pictures of a 40th Birthday party.  It was awesome!  I expected nothing less because the birthday girl sure knows how to have fun.  The party was held at the Indigo Hotel at Boxx 109 and the setting was perfect and the food was great.  Everyone had an amazing time.  It was very entertaining watching people take turns singing karaoke at the end of the night.  Good times.

Aquarium of the Pacific

We had a great time at the Long Beach Aquarium.  I was a little nervous about taking Bronson because I thought he might be too young to care about looking at the animals.  Boy, was I wrong.  He LOVED it.  He followed the Otters around their tank as they swam back and forth and reached out to try and touch the fish.  I can't wait to take him back!

Aunt Mimi flew in for Bronson's baptism and stayed a few days after.  We are so glad she got to spend some quality time with us.  Hopefully we can visit her in Hawaii sooner rather than later.  We love you!

Baptism

The highlight of our California trip so far has been Bronson's baptism.  It was such a cool experience!  Here are a few pictures from the ceremony.  Thank you to all family and friends for coming out :)

I didn't think I was going to torture him by having him wear the hat, but I thought it was  funny and B didn't seem to mind so I kept it on for a few pictures.

California Love

We are in California for 4 weeks!!  We are loving being here and I'm pretty sure Bronson is a California boy at heart.  Here are a few pictures of our trip so far.

Here is a picture I found at my grandfather's house while I was visiting him.  He loves to tell me stories of when he was in the Navy.  This picture was taken in 1947 after he graduated from Navy boot camp. How handsome was he??!!
