Just Family

Tonight, I got to take pictures of a 40th birthday party.  It was totally my kind of party, just the family.  It's always nice to hang out with this gang and I was so touched when they asked me to capture memories of this great night.  I am so happy with how all of the pictures turned out and I can't wait to post them.  Here are just a few faceless pics until I have a chance to narrow down my favorites to post next.

100% TEAM KATH!!

Sibling Love

It made me smile watching these four kids run around and play because it reminded me of the days me and my siblings would run around like crazy and have so much fun.  Here are just a few pictures of many to come.

Marathon Monday

I just wanted to post a few pictures from the Boston Marathon today before I get on my flight to California.  I'm so excited to go home!

We joined Erin's family to cheer her on at the half way mark.  Good job E!

Just past the halfway mark in Wellesley.

The cheering squad.

Off to California I go!

Capturing Memories

When you get hired for a job, you don't really expect to grow to love your employers like I have.  In fact the word "employer" makes me really uncomfortable because this family is hardly that.  They are life long friends and I am so grateful for them.

For almost two and a half years now I have been lucky enough to spend a lot of time with these two boys and I can proudly say that I have finally mastered how to get them to cooperate with the camera!  Nothing in my bag of tricks was working especially since they are big enough now to reach all of the treats and tricks in the house, and then I said "Guys, want to capture some memories by taking pictures?"  They were all about it.  It's so cute to hear them talk about things from the past that are engraved into their memories.  They remember all things family and fun and I think that is so sweet and special.

I went the "if you can't beat them, join them" route and played t-ball, moon bounce, and tag with my big camera strapped around my neck.  I'm sure the neighbors thought I was weird, oh well!

L really took to picture taking and wanted to know if the faces he was making "ooked good" and even got behind the camera and snapped away.  F didn't mind either.  I am happy how these turned out and it definitely helps that these boys really can't look bad in a picture.

I love their zest for life. I love their cute twin faces!

xoxo.

J and R's little surprise

I did a shoot with these boys for their Mom's birthday.  We went to a little bell tower in Wellesley, MA, and they had so much fun running around and exploring.  It was so sweet how J and R wanted to do something nice for their mom.  I hope she enjoys these pictures!

Happy Birthday.

No light at the end of the tunnel

It snowed today!  Just as I thought it was time to start warming up, I was reminded that these winters are never ending.  I know it seems like I complain about the snow and cold weather a lot, but I secretly love it. I am regretting not taking any pictures of the snow falls from this winter because they were so beautiful.

I took my favorite boys to the Duck Pond today.  We had so much fun and I captured some of the light snow fall :)
