Just Family

Tonight, I got to take pictures of a 40th birthday party.  It was totally my kind of party, just the family.  It's always nice to hang out with this gang and I was so touched when they asked me to capture memories of this great night.  I am so happy with how all of the pictures turned out and I can't wait to post them.  Here are just a few faceless pics until I have a chance to narrow down my favorites to post next.

100% TEAM KATH!!

It's an OBSESSION!

Aaron and my brother Andrew are alllll about golf.  Whenever we go home to CA,  I hardly ever see Aaron because he's always off running around with my brothers and usually playing golf.  I can't complain though because it gives me time to hang out and relax with my parents and friends.  I think it's also nice that my brothers love him like one of their own since Aaron doesn't have any siblings close to his age.  I managed to snap a few pictures of the obsessed golfers during prep time.  I think Andrew has my cousin Bryce on the golf train now too.

Fathers Day

A little late with this post, but HAPPY FATHERS DAY DAD!!!!  I was so happy that Aaron and I were in CA this year to celebrate with my dad and family.  He really is the most amazing man I know.  Love you dad!

I went with a gardening theme for gifts.  The man never wants/needs anything, but my mom helped me out with some things that need to be replaced.

Congrats Grad

Patrick's graduation party was so much fun.  It was so great seeing all of our family and friends.  I wish I took a lot more pictures but I was distracted by good conversation and running around playing with the little ones.  Here are a few I managed to take in the beginning.

Ok, this baby was the best baby EVER.  So mellow, calm, talkative, smiley, and super cute!

On the Coffee Table

1.  I love my new flash.  Nikkon Speedlight SB-800
2.  I saw this lip gloss at Target that I used to wear when I was younger.  I am obsessed with how it smells...exactly like vanilla frosting.  Lip Smacker, vanilla frosting
3.  This summer I am loving Coco Rave bathing suits.  They are so comfortable and are made of the best material.
4.  I am trying to send more cards to friends and family.  I miss the days of mailed letters!  Lately I have been using this girly Barbie stationary I bought at TJ Maxx.

Beef Stroganoff

I had a dinner date with my sister, Margaret, tonight!  I was planning on making Beef Stroganoff for me and Aaron, and I was so happy when I got the "Can I come over?" call from Marg.  She also brought me an awesome framed picture of my Grandma that I LOVE!  Thanks sis.

Beef Stroganoff is definitely not on the healthy food list, but it sure is delicious.

Poor Blog

My blog has been neglected lately.  I am a little ashamed of myself for being so distracted, but here I am, back in action.

Let's go back to Memorial Day weekend for starters...

The Sunday before Memorial Day we headed over to Conlan's girlfriends parents house in Winthrop.  I absolutely love being at their house because it overlooks the ocean and gives you no other choice than to be perfectly relaxed.

Aaron and Conlan played "Bags" while Taylor and I went down the backyard steps to the tide pools when the tide when out.

The tide pools were so fun to explore around in.  We even found a bunch of clams and took them back up to the kitchen to boil.  They turned out perfectly!

I just had to snap a few pictures of these pretty flowers too...
