Halloween and putting up lights

Bronson was such a trooper on Halloween.  I thought for sure he would be so annoyed with his Mickey Mouse costume but he wasn't and even kept his ears on the entire night.  We went to a few houses up and down our street with some neighbors and the kids had so much fun.  Of course Bronson got ahold of a lollipop, chewed through the wrapper and was loving the orange sugar taste he discovered.  The fit he threw when I took it away was a lot of fun...

Mid November

My parents came out for a visit mid November mainly to see Margaret play in her last home game as a Saint Anselm Hawk Volleyball player.  It was so nice having them here for awhile and, lucky them, they got to experience their first long power outage due to Hurricane Sandy which required us to use our back up generator for a few days.
Marg's senior game brought back so many memories of my last game and it made me think back to all of the memories I have from college and playing volleyball.  The end of volleyball was such a bitter sweet thing.  Ready for it to be over but also never wanting it to end.
Marg, you're awesome!

I love how Bronson loves everyone especially my mom and sister.  He totally doesn't care if I'm around when they are with him, and I kind of love that...a lot :)

Everyone needs a little sugar cookie now and then right?

This boy...

I can't get enough of this little man.

My mom turned the big 5-0 last week and Bronson made her his first craft time masterpiece.  Everything started off nice, but of course I thought it would be more fun to put paint all over his high chair and let him go at it.  All was fun and games until he wanted to eat all of the paint :)  So much fun. We love you Grandma!

Pinterest Dining

So, Aaron and I have been trying something new with our grocery shopping.  We both started getting so annoyed with how many times we end up going to the grocery store during the week.  It's our own fault, we always went without any kind of physical or mental list.  We kind of just roamed the aisles until something looked appetizing.  Terrible way to grocery shop, I know.
For months I've been wanting to get more organized and always suggested Pinterest to help us out.  We FINALLY did it.  I went on the site the night before a grocery day and found meals that looked good and picked a few out to buy the next day.  It worked out great!  We bought makings for an amazing chicken dish, a smoothie for the mornings, and a yummy sweet potato wrap.  I can't wait for the next trip and will definitely add a few more meals to the list.

Try these!

This was BY FAR the best.

Our little Pumpkin

Yesterday Aaron and I took Bronson to Parlee Farms for some pumpkin picking.  The farm was awesome.  They had apple picking, hay rides, a barn full of animals, flower picking, and my personal favorite, the best apple cider donuts I've ever tasted.  Bronson had a blast.  I was shocked when he let the goats eat the food from his had.  Here are a few pictures from our farm day.

Halloween Inspiration

I know, I know, it's WAY too early for this but I am really looking forward to Bronson's first Halloween this year.  I'm not usually into this holiday, but I recently got news that my parents will be in town for it so I want to go all out on decorating and dressing up.  I'm already torn on what to dress Bronson up as so I have a feeling he will end up with a few costumes to wear throughout Halloween week.  Here is some great decor inspiration I have found so far.

"Say Popsicle!"

Last week we had a few neighborhood friends over for a picnic in our front yard and some sprinkler fun after.  I'm sure I wasn't "supposed to" give Bronson a JollyRancher sugar filled Popsicle but, whatever, I did!  It was funny watching him eat it.  Everytime I said "Ok, that's enough" he'd throw a toddler sized fit and I give in to "just a little more."  Fun was had by all :)

Fish on!

A few weeks ago my brother Patrick and his gal pal, lilly, came to visit us!  We had so much fun and it was great having 4/5 of us sibling together (we missed you, Drew!)  One day we went fishing at a near by hot spot.  We didn't catch any bass but there's always a tiny rush when you get a lil guy on the hook.  Fun was had by all.

Anyone that knows me well, knows that I have a slight addiction to eating Nerds.  Look where I found one.  In Bronson's toes!  Looks like someone has been playing with the candy box.
